With You Every Step— In Sport, Recovery, and Beyond
Why I Do What I Do
I’ve built my career- and my life- around the belief that movement is power. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, training for your next big race, or simply striving to move and feel better, I’m here to help. My mission is simple: to empower you to move with confidence, perform at your highest level, and take charge of your health with the best possible care and guidance.
After living in eight states over the past eleven years, my family and I have finally settled in the “City Above the Clouds,” Woodland Park, CO, where I’ve built my dream practice- providing you with expert, personalized care every time you walk through my door (or enter my Zoom room!), because your journey deserves unwavering support.
My Journey: From Air Force to Athlete and Physical Therapist
My fascination with the human body began during my enlistment in the Air Force as an aerospace physiology technician. Working closely with pilots and aircrew, I saw firsthand how the body adapts under extreme conditions- and I was hooked. When my enlistment ended, I continued to pursue my passion through education, earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology, followed by a doctorate in physical therapy.
Since becoming a physical therapist, I’ve worked with patients across the U.S., helping individuals with sports injuries, orthopedic issues, pelvic floor dysfunction and obstetric and post-surgical rehab. I’ve really worked to hone my skillset and expertise in a way that honors you as a whole person and treats from the inside out.
It’s been a long-held dream of mine to create a practice that offers longer appointment times, comprehensive care, and a tailored approach that respects your unique journey. Now, that dream is a reality. My clinic in Woodland Park offers both in-person and telehealth appointments, giving my clients access to the care they deserve- wherever they are.
My Passion for Endurance Sports & Coaching
I don’t just treat athletes- I am one myself. I’ve pushed my own limits as a high-level endurance athlete, tackling triathlons, marathons, and multisport events. Perhaps my first long-course triathlon, Beach to Battleship 70.3, was a crash course in what not to do- but it ignited a passion for training, performance, and human potential.
Since then, I’ve competed in numerous triathlons and discovered a deep love for endurance coaching and am now one of only a handful of coaches in the world with USA Triathlon Level III Coaching Certification.
I now work with high level and elite endurance athletes to fine-tune their training, optimize recovery, and build the strength and resilience needed to perform at their best. Whether it’s race strategy, injury prevention, or dialing in a fueling plan, it’s my goal to bring out that next level in you!
